Michael R Loefler, Vivantaa’s operational Trade Advisor, is an Attorney at Law (Germany) and has 29 years of extensive experience in strategic management, corporate finance, and business strategy. Michael has been in senior management positions across the Banking, Hedge Fund & Commodity Segments including – HVB bank, Rothschild Golden Arrow Fund, Asian Development Bank, Cargill International, Golden Agri Resources Pte Ltd, Stemcor, G Steel, GJS Steel among others.

Some of his key positions include notably, as Turnaround CEO of GSteel and GJS Steel PCL Thailand( yearly turnaround potential of about 1.6 billion USD) and Managing Director of Project and Asset Finance for Hypovereinsbank AG Singapore, with an annual gross income contribution of 25 million USD

Michael also served as Deputy CFO Downstream and part of the management team of Golden Agri Resources International (Sinarmas) in Singapore. Before that, Michael served as General Manager in Cargill Environmental Finance and as Director in Cargill Trade Structured Finance, Singapore. As a Member of the Board of Brahmani River Pellets (BRPL), the former Stemcor India flagship company, his operational turnaround involvement in the field was a critical contribution to the successful sale of the asset. Michael has been active in many corporate and project finance, investment management, and legal challenges in Europe and Asia and in a wide variety of industries. He is also a Partner in the Life Sciences branch of P4M Labs, a leading and innovative European-based health sciences management company, and is involved in the company’s legal affairs, financial & strategic management along with its business development.
